About Us

Dawn Patrol Online was begun during the 2020 pandemic, under the aegis of the Alcoholics Anonymous Albuquerque Dawn Patrol in-person meeting. The meeting initially served as a refuge for people who could not attend the in-person meeting.

Dawn Patrol Online began to attract members from around the USA and the world. Over time, more people used Zoom to attend A.A. meetings while in-person A.A. meetings were unavailable or inconvenient. Eventually Dawn Patrol Online was self-sufficient and became separate from the Albuquerque in-person meeting, while still attracting members of that group who periodically attend either meeting.

Dawn Patrol Online invites you to join us and welcomes you to make us your home group. We offer many service opportunities and while you can’t make coffee or move chairs, other than your own, we hope you will find our meetings to be beneficial and fun, as you get to know us, and we get to know you.

The only requirement for A.A. membership is a desire to stop drinking. (A.A. Tradition Three)
